The hardest part of this project has been setting up the demos.  Solo vocal isn't my strong point, so don't pass judgement solely on the audio demos.  Once the keyboard arrangements are done I'll call in a few favors and do recordings with balanced voices.

The audio demos were done in the sunroom at my home, with computers humming in the background.  Equipment: one Shure BG 4.0 microphone, 40 year old Yamaha FG-180 6 string (my daily wreck around that has aged into a nice tone), M-Audio FastTrack Pro audio interface, and open source Audacity for multi-track recording, editing and conversion to mp3.
